Study-abroad
From February 28 to March 10, 2025 the Chateau Saint André will be hosting a group of 14 students and four of their professors from Snow College in Utah, USA. As part of a semester-long bioethics course, the students will travel to Rome during their spring break to engage with international bioethics experts and attend the annual conference of the Pontifical Academy for Life (the Vatican’s bioethics advisory commission).
They will also participate in daily excursions to sites that are relevant to the themes of their course, such as several historic hospitals, the Teutonic cemetry, miraculous healing sites, artistic depictions of dying and death, as well as the Laudato Sí Institute for Integral Ecology in Castelgandolfo.
